I
have important info
to share today!
Please read
on:
CKS has purchased
and is ready to use,
the SchoolMessenger
parent notification
system. This system
will allow the
school to contact
all parents at once
via telephone or
e-mail to deliver a
message of
importance, such as
school closings due
to weather.
Obviously,
the school could
also contact parents
immediately in case
of any type of
unforeseen
emergency.
It
is also possible for
school
administration (or
teachers) to contact
specific groups of
parents, such as a
“homeroom” group or
the “Middle School
Band.” We could even
send out “surveys”
with the
SchoolMessenger
parent notification
system. Please be
advised that this
system will be used
only by school
personnel and for
school business.
On
Wednesday, November
12 at approximately
12:00 noon, you will
receive a “test”
notification via all
home and cell phone
numbers we have on
file for you (we are
not using work
numbers) and the
e-mail we have on
file for you. You do
not need to respond
unless you do NOT
receive a call or an
e-mail at a number
or address that you
think the school
should have.
You will hear
my voice on the
phone message.
The SchoolMessenger
Company has assured
us that all of their
systems are safe and
private.
Therefore,
your phone numbers
and e-mails will not
fall into unwanted
hands.
The school will use
this system to
notify you of school
closings due to
weather.
Additionally,
we will call WIBC
and WTHR Channel 13.
If
you have questions
please do not
hesitate to call.
