Sixth,
Seventh, and Eighth grade students are all involved with both
internet research and creating their own web documents. In
Sixth grade, students learn the basic uses of tables, backgrounds,
images, bookmarks, and links through Microsoft Word. Seventh
grade
students move up a notch and are expected to learn and recognize
basic HTML and some java scripting with the help of sites such as
Dynamic Drive
http://dynamicdrive.com/.
Microsoft FrontPage is used as a webpage editor in both 7th and 8th
grade and allows students to see the html code as they create their web pages.
PowerPoint projects can also be converted to web pages for broad
cast. The sites chosen to be posted here on our school website
are/were some of the best student sites created. These students are
working extremely hard and should be very proud of their work.
